Purpose
目的
To each and every survivor, a returned item carries deep emotional meaning. For some, it is the only symbol remaining of their past, whether it be a soccer ball, a hat, or a buoy.
These items represent more than hope and the will to carry on. They represent small pieces of entire lives once lost.
" The sea has no border, and so as our hearts. My hands are still tiny and weak, but one day I would like to become a big and strong man who is able to support others. No matter what happens to my life, I will keep looking up and moving forward step by step. When I am feeling down, I will hold this ball in my arms and remember those who have supported me through. I am sure the ball will give me courage to overcome any challenge facing ahead.
